1100 GS tank and 1150 GS.

Hi, are the tanks the same on the 1100 GS and 1150 GS? Ta.

my 1100 has an 1150 tank - straight swap, no messing.

my 1100 has a GSA tank - no worries. I think the 1100GS plastic tanks are a little different though

I believe the plastic tank on the 95 1100GS dose not have a lip around the edge so the BMW tank bag will not fit .

The fittings are the same on the metal constructed tanks. these will accommodate the BMW tank bag , and other magnetic bags.

The 1150 GS range do not have plastic tanks , so are exchangeable .

There is quite allot of information on the internet if you have time to search through the bumf.
