1100 headlight bulb

Any info on upgrading my standard 1100 headlight bulb please, just want a brighter light purely by swapping the bulb. Thanks in advance, dunnie

Osram night breaker or Phillips xtreme power. Lots on here will tell you these bulbs dont last, probably cause when they fitted them they got greasy paw prints on the glass. I have been running a Phillips in my r1150r for 30,000 miles, it gives a usefull increase in lighting power and uses no extra current. If you do touch the glass wipe the grease off with a soft tissue soaked in acetone then let it dry it off before installing.

Hi,

My headlight bulb lost its brightness over the years and I replaced it with a xenon bulb (120%) from Halfords. Got 2 for £25 when they were on offer. The lights are much better and improved
