Just done my wifes clutch, put back together and its only running on one side (left).
Checked cables, checked wires, there is fuel (well getting to the injector at least), there is spark, it starts and runs on one pot as well as can be expected.
I am sure that I must of disconnected something or other but for the life of me I cant find it or think what it might be?

any ideas of what to check gratefully accepted.

Check you haven't plugged the air temp sensor plug onto the injector, and the injector plug onto the air sensor :D.

thanks for that, I have just checked.

I hate bloody bikes, tank off, scratch head, for want of somthing to do, I replaced the plug with a second hand spare in the shed, put it back together and it works fine.
But checked plug outside of bike and its sparking fine? only thing I can think of is that it is not working under load in the engine or in the process of taking tank off and putting it back what ever was the problem is not now, but for life of me I cant see anything obvious.

Typical spark plug failure mode in m experience - they spark OK outside of the engine but in the higher pressure, fuel-rich environment of the cylinder the spark doesn't happen. Presumably due to tiny cracks etc allowing the spark to track to ground instead of arcing across the gap.

There should be a spark over a 6 mm gap in the open air. Make a test block out of a piece of wood and two screws. Drill a 10 mm hole in the wood block and turn the screws in from both sides.

Well, sorry. This is not your case because you got the spark witn another plug. So the coil is OK anyway and there only one of them.
