I need to order a new part from Bee Emm, and I don't know it's proper description, let alone its part number.

My bike's an 1100, and the part in question is a plastic 'beam' that runs under the left hand side of the pillion seat, and to which the seat lock fits. As it's goosed, despite the use of cable ties to secure the lock into position, the passenger seat's still very tricky to lock/unlock.

Any ideas, please, anyone???

P/n 51252313405 Dual seat lock mechanism, Had the same props with mine what I did notice on mine was the previous owner had cable tied the assembly to the frame so tight it was causing difficulty to secure the passenger seat, I cut them free loosened the two bolts under the front seat, install the rear seat then tightened them with seat in situ, If your unlucky like I was the plastic snapped at the other end where the seat lock is secured but I used a solder Iron and a bit of plastic coat hanger to plastic weld it back together, bolted up job done no more probs.
Ps think Sherlocks have the assembly second hand if you can,t repair.
