I've done quite a few of the rear subframes for the 1100/1150GS, but I've always done what people have asked me to do, or done it the same as the pictures/drawings they supply. Although they are definately stronger than stock, I've always thought there was room for improvement,and having repaired someone elses effort on more than one occasion, only seemed to confirm it to me.
This is my first rough stab at doing mine today. I'll loose the clamp for the brake line which is no big deal,and the helmet lock, but apart from that, I think it'll go straight on.
I'll finish this one,then test it and go from there.
