Top marks for originality - I've never seen that done to a GS before

There's a certain irony about anyone who rides a GS commenting on the looks of any motorcycle. I'd suggest that what it looks like is largely irrelevant. What counts is how it works. The conversion will, undoubtedly, have improved the wind management and the headlights.

If I have a concern it's what the mass of the fairing, attached relatively far forward and high up, has done to the handling.

Notwithstanding everything I said about the looks being irrelevant, I'd certainly change the beak for an 1150 one at the very least.

If I have a concern it's the total no no of 'lines' that don't flow together, even a standard GS has those to some extent, also the total mismatch of colours in that particular example, but my main concern is that ...

.... It looks bloody Goddamn awful

No - it looks "interesting". The guy's to be applauded for doing something different. How it looks is subjective at best and what really matters is how it goes, stops and handles. It's a motorcycle, not a painting.

Decent lights though....

:thumb
my thought as well, having had 1100,1150, & 1200 anything to add candle power must be a good thing.
Not sure about the looks though :D

Decent lights? If it's dark you should be at home, someone else's home, in the bar, in bed, someone else's bed ... but not out on the f'kin road

Who says you "should", Mick...? I say you "should" be scything down a Highland glen road with your HID and spots ablaze, avoiding the stray otters, badgers, foxes and deer while seeing if you can still scrape the pegs in the dark....:P

;)
