Just done all the mechanical bits and removed the ABS pump unit. What are people sound with the wiring loom and massive plug? Just wondering. Looks like a bit of work to extract it from the loom. Or just snip all the wires heat shrink and wrap it all back up.

Second question, what are the common uses for the void where the pump unit was? Thinking of moving the battery forwards and using the space behind. I’m not sure what for though😆.

The consensus used to be seal up the plug by methods previously covered and don't go snipping the feckin wires...👍😆 As for the space... Just marvel at a small amount of lightness that it gives...

To move the battery forwards, you will need to make up some new longer cables, and then connect them.
And to do that you need to take the tank off, and then the airbox, ans to dobthat the rear frame section, and and and and.....
Enjoy the lightness!

I didn't read the 1100 bit...🙄😆 Yep 1100, big plug, bag it, tape it and cable tie it to something...👍
