1100GS ABS rings front and rear

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a rear ABS ring for my 95 1100GS and on ebay they all seem to be only stated as ABS ring 1100GS. The part numbers are different but to look at they seem to be identical, the parts fiche also shows what appears to be 2 completely different rings on the diagram (the rear having eight mounts and the front having 6) which is completely different to the five mounts front and rear that my wheels have.

So far I have ascertained that the 1150 ones are interchangeable without shim adjustment but I was wondering if anyone has any experience putting a supposedly 'front' abs ring on the rear wheel of an 1100?

I don't really want to buy the wrong one.

I am unable to swap the front and the rear for the ones that I currently have to try it as I am waiting on the mounting kits from a dealer.

Any ideas?

Early ones are cast ,later models are pressed .
