OK Chaps

Next stage prep for my 1100GS is to fit new braided brake hoses front and rear.

Easy enough I guess…. But I do not want to have to sit there pumping the brake lever or pedal and turning a nipple to bleed the system…. It has ABS by the way.

Now I intend to do this once and once only so I need your recommendations on brake bleeding kits. Which one is the best given I haven’t got a fortune to spend.

Thanks in advance

the old skool way you describe should work well on that bike.

i use a mityvac and don't really have a cheap alternative. speedbleeders perhaps?

Brian

Did the same on my 1100 last year.

I used a big syringe and bled them from the bottom with no probems.

Ta!

Thanks Chaps

Looks like the big syringe for starters I will let you know.

Big Den, what the hell is all that about and is your horror story over, did you ever get those brakes bled

nope still the same, took the heads off and sorting the exhaust studs, then i'll button it up and nail it down the road and if the brakes don't work the missus can claim the insurance :D i'll probably die of brake fluid poisoning anyway :blast
