1100GS Clutch Actuation Arm Washers

I've suffered from a really stiff clutch for a while now. I've replaced the cable which helped a bit and also regreased the needle bearing on the actuation arm.

I've taken the swingarm off as my neutral switch is also playing up so I've decided to revisit the clutch issues.

There are two penny washers either side of the clutch actuation arm and they appear to be domed slightly. Should they be domed or should they be flat? It looks like these washers are taking the load on the lever itself and not the bearing.

Take the arm out clean and grease the bits n bobs and refit it torque it and check it moves freely

I cant remember if there's domes or not but Above is what you need to do

The bearing should take their load from the washers, otherwise there would be no point - you should see some contact marks on the washers. One side is domed, one's flat - washer's domed sides look "outwards" on each side if I remember correctly (flat sides facing the bearing).

Both my washers are flat so I will order some new ones. I couldn't see how it would work with flat washers as they are grabbing on the arm rather than the bearing.
