Does anybody out there know if the mirrors on the 1100gs come apart? I like many others (from reading other threads) have a problem with rotting mirror stems and I was wondering if the mirror part came off so that they could be sprayed up. It looks as though they should but I don't really want to force anything! especially with dealer spares prices being what they are.
Did see some info about switching to mirrors from a late K12RS but not sure if they fit the 1100GS.
