1100GS to 1150GSA Seat Conversion

Hi,

I currently own a 1100gs, and I was wondering what does it take to modify my bike seat to the 1150GSA Seat. I just rode a 1150 and the feeling is awesome! My butt does not hurt, and i think my girlfriend would be pleased with this seat.

So, besides the seat, seat mounts, rear aluminum frame and seat lock, what else do i need to make my bike like this? :

Any already done conversions? I don't really know hot this Search function works.

I did this to my last 1150 because I found it more comfy. However, on my new 1150 I am goint to get the original 2 piece seat reworked as it will be cheaper and I'm sure it will be more comfy.

The gsa seat isn't that gppd once you've been on it a couple of hours!

Don't do it, your missus will most likely hate it. There's nowhere near enough space or padding on a GSA seat for a pillion. Either get some lovely Corbins for your 1100 or, if you fancy a single seat option, go the Touratech route. I have an 1150 Adv and my seats are converted to twin Corbin's... Sandy's really happy!
