Anyone know where I can get hold of the four flanged bolts that connect the lower V sections to the upper sections - the two flanged bolts each side that go into the tapped overlapping joint?

Cheers :beerjug: in advance of any welcome advice.

PS - this is asked in the smuggest way possible.

PPS - I did ask BMW years ago but they were soooooooooo expensive I nearly shat on the counter floor, on the spot.

I've bought loads of A2 & A4 stainless nuts, bolts, capheads, buttonheads & flanged bolts from a seller called bolt-world on eBay. If they don't have them just put the dimensions into the eBay search bar, I'm sure you'll find them and at a reasonable price

Edit:
PS Be careful if you choose stainless as they have a different tensile strength to high tensile bolts (not sure if the engine bolts you want are HT or not).

cheers muchly folks peoples

bought loads of nuts bolts from gwr fasteners on ebay really good and cheap just buy a selection if not sure of size length etc....

There is a shop called AHC in Camberley who do mail order. They have never failed me and I've gone in for some pretty random stuff over the years, worth a shout.

thanks all - im going to order but problem I have is working ou tif the pitch is 1.25, 1.5 etc - would anyone know on here?

BMW use mostly standard iso metric course threads

So

M6 x 1.00 ( which is Metric 6mm diameter x 1mm distance between threads)
M8 x 1.25
M10 x 1.5

You need to work out the diameter of fastener that you need.
