1150 bolt

My brother has over filled the oil on his 1150GS.

He's removed a bolt to drop some oil and can't get the bolt back in?

Any idea's why it won't go back?

Because its not a drain bolt, its to do with the cam chain sliders....

Did he turn the bike upside down and drain some oil out of the filler cap ?

Think he panicked when he realised he'd overfilled it and just started taking bolts out.

It's his first boxer. All sorted now though.
