2002 GSA full nut &bolt restoration,all parts have been refurbished or are new on this bike, engine rebuilt with new rings ,bearings ,cam chains & plastic chain guides ,one piece pushrods, oil pump, ignition ,auxiliary shaft drive chain & tensioner ,long nose sachs clutch complete, starter motor, fuel pump & filter ,plastic fuel rails, fork tube bushings, brembo discs front /rear & pads ,callipers overhauled ,wheel bearings,final drive bearings,new type pivot bearings including swing arm, coating’s are powered coated,ceramic coated,two pack paint ,zink plate,PJ1 on engine & gearbox. The bike has Mictuning auxiliary spots ,1200 style tall smoked screen from Italy ,r/s type mirrors (I have the original as well) ,I have a full set of ome alloy panniers , topbox & mountings in excellent condition for an additional £1000. This is a stunning bike & I’m hoping to put a few more miles on it to run the new parts in so mileage will increase.Speed omiter reset to 0 originally showed 28 k approx. It also has standard 1150 GS shocks lowering it for my shorter legs ,I have the GSA shocks ,side & center stands ,over £8k worth of receipts so far .I have a pair of immaculate aluminium wheels £495 & a brand new front for sale £400 . A choice of seats (high one needs recovering) .viewing is essential to appreciate how good this bike is number 3 of 3 I have renovated/ restored & the last I will be doing so don’t miss out on one of the best gsers out there,thanks for looking, no trades or swaps sorry.

ive seen johns resto's. hes a top bloke, his work is spot on and im sure the price doesn’t reflect the time and labour that’s gone into it, restoing bikes is one big money pit if done properly

Best of luck selling it. It may well be overpriced to most but the way it has been done may well just trigger one person (and that's all it needs) for whom it is the perfect spec ? Personally....I'd take an original 'worn and weathered' one for less than half the price. This one looks very much like a personal take on it, which is fine...but seldom commands the sum total of the time and parts put into it.

Personally, I think £10k isn’t a silly price either. It’s basically a brand new ( almost a classic now ) bike. Not some cheap Chinese crap that’ll be a pile of scrap in 5 years.
