Thanks Fellas. I'm still fettling but nothing worthy of content here really. Nice to see "what have I done" rebuild blog - and Mikeyboy in the airheads section.

I had been planning the next build but just have no time now, so will put it off until the spring. And my garage isn't heated ...

Great Rebuild and very cool that you have now kept one of the iconic bikes alive for a good few years..

Right chaps, I've been having a good look around and the next project, and a good old think about my bikes. What I'd really like to do is get hold of a 100 GS and do a nut and bolt refurb.

But I also need a decent commuter bike so looking at getting an ST1300 to live outside and be the work horse. So here goes

I'm considering letting the SE go in its current state (tank and beak unpainted) as a swap for either a 1300 pan European or a gs100. Maybe a small cash correction either way. So if you have something and you're interested, drop me a pm. Bear in mind the SE is a 72k mile cat C.

Oh and I've worn out two GSs and two ST1100s commuting, and I know which one I want!
