I fased to the similar issue. I bought the TT Revamp sëat for my 1100Gs and I had to competaly rebuilt the back said of my bike.
I aleso tried to use 1150GSA seat for 1100 but it was the same problem.
You have two options. To buy the conversion kit (if any) or to make this kit yourself as I did.

much simpler to buy a touratech sport seat which will fit. and looks very similar.. can be made to look identical if you have it recovered.
