Can anyone with one of these, tell me if they can be insured under a "Classic" policy ? I'm thinking, say a 2002 bike which is now well over the 10 years age

Most classic policies are 15yrs + in my experience

Carole Nash offer a "future classics policy" or it's for bikes 10 yrs old and over. I've got my 2000 1150 GS on it, along with some other bikes, you can also arrange an agreed value under the scheme.

Cheers, I'll look into it

I am also with Carol Nash with a 6-wheel policy. Nobody else can come close to them with features or price. 2x 1150 Adventurers and the Golf estate - just the car quote is more than all the lot together from nywhere else.

My insurance from MCE was £93 tpft, 40 year old, 5 years ncb. dont think you would get it much cheaper on classic policy. The policy also came with recovery.

Just out of interest, are the 'classic' policies attractive due to cost, or is it agreed value?

i pay 65 pounds a year they wanted 105 pounds i shouted at them on the phone got what i wanted grrrr be hard with them still making a huge profit !!!"
