1150 gs rebuild glitches

I have given my gs a bit of a makeover and have a few technical questions.
1/ I have changed the wheels for cast ones and do i need to put the spacer ring off of the original rear wheel on and what are the measurements for the sensors to the abs ring the abs lights are flashing.
2/ on the led panel I have the clock but when I turn the ignition on and start it it's blank any ideas!! Please .......

The feeler gauge in your bikes tool kit under the seat will give the minimum and max gap for the distance between the abs ring and sensor. I am not sure about the spacer as I have not alloy wheels fitted but I would put the spacer in first an see what the gap is.. Your abs may need to be reset if the lights are flashing by shorting a couple of terminals on the diagnostic plug under the seat..Theres a step through here somewhere explaining how to do that..The clock going blank is just a weak battery..The abs lights will flash also if the battery is low.
