Probably the usual BMW trick of recalling a load of old vehicles just to get you in the door so they can update their database. Did it with radiator caps on cars a few years ago. Swmbo got mailshots from Bracknell for about 5 years.

Got a letter yesterday [2000 r1150gs] spoke to dealer this morning, he says its speedo/brake hose issue, and relay mod,
Got that one last year.
The local dealer put a different fuel relay/link in which I then removed as it didnt like it.
They attached the front brake pipe and speedo cable so they cant be damaged if the forks hit the wishbone.

Yes gents, it's true....after 13 years, BMW found something wrong with the 1150GSA
My HP2 has a recall as well, so I can't get too smug!
So this seems to cover the 1150 and 1200. Anyone had one for the 1100, or is this way to old for such notices?
