1150 gs running rough

can the timing go out of sink etc

the o/s cylinder is not firing // intermitantly

i have spark
injector is attomizing the fuel
throtel cabel is sat ok
wires to injector are ok the fuel is attomizing
i have swoped the plugs over
i have swopped the injectors over
swopped plug leads
compression is the same on each side i/e 128lb
the problem seemed to start when i put the battery on charge
checked all wires etc cant find a fault
tryed all the idears from the previous thread

any more idears

it will start from coold run for about 30 seconds then die then it may start and will run rough and cut out

My 1100 would start & run then cut out when i tried to open the throtal ,did a code read & it was the hall sensors ,

sounds like you may have a fuel problem.......did you have the tank off............if so have you crimped either the flow or return

Does it start and run ok from cold,ie when the choke lever is pulled?.
Did you disconnect the battery?.
It may need a TPS reset.
Ignition on,(motor not running)
wind open throttle to max,then close,
repeat throttle ,
switch off,then try it again.

Might be worth checking you haven't squashed the 2 breather pipes.

Are you definately sure the R/H outer throttle cable is seated in it's hoder.

Or could the throttle cable be frayed on the R/H side ??

has anyone ever done a fault finding flow chart on the oilhead bikes ?

mine is doing the same after about 5-10 miles and when you think about it, an intermittant fault on one of these is a bit daunting.

THE ONLY THING THAT IS LEFT

TOOK TANK OFF TODAY RE CHECKED EVERTHING RAN FINE GOT 2 MILE DOWN THE ROAD STARTED AGIAN

THE ONLY THING THAT SEENS TO BE LEFT IS THE HALL SENSOR BEHIND THE CRANK PULLY
ANY ONE KNOW HOW AND IF YOU CAN CHECK THEM

MY NEAREST BMW DEALER IS ABOUT 30 MILE AWAY
WOULD A LOCAL DESENT BIKE SHOP THAT DOES TUNE UPS ETC BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAULT ON THERE EQUIPMENT BEING THAT ITS A BMW

OR CAN ANYONE RECOMEND ANY ONE IN WARRINGTON CHESHIRE
