1150 GS SEAT HEIGHT

HI THERE

FIRST POST SO BE GENTLE, AT THE MOMENT I HAVE A BMW R850 R, LOVE IT BUT I AM WANTING TO CHANGE TO AN 1150 GS, MY ONLY WORRY IS , I AM VERTICALLY CHALLENGED 5" 6" TO BE PRECISE . WHAT A WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS WHAT SEAT HIGHT CAN I GET DOWN TO WITH AN AFTERMARKJET SEAT, AND WHICH IS THE BEST WHILE KEEPING THE BEST COMFORT.

I've a 29" inside leg and can plant both feet with the standard seat in the low position.

Hi there, welcome. 5 foot 4 female, 29 inch inside leg, on the 1150gs with a low seat fitted and fine with that.....except on wet muddy long grassed fields

Not so much your height as your inside leg.... I've got 29.5 inches (the .5 is very important )

No problems on a standard 1100/1150.. a tad tall but manageable on the 1150 ADV (care needed on cambers etc) so I now have a low seat on the ADV and no problems Enjoy your stay with us
