I'm told one of the BMW ally panniers can be mounted in place of the smaller top box. Which side pannier can be used?

They both can, as the fittings are the same for all 3. The exhaust side pannier is slightly smaller internally as it has a cut-out to clear the exhaust.

BMW Pannier as Top Box

Pussyhorse, the right hand pannier is the one to use, that's what I have - see pic below.

Pizza anybody ? ..........My bike with big top box. It will take a laptop sized briefcase and lots more.
