just read your story but was dissapoited by no end... how did you get on and what was the outcome?

Thats what it looks like when the shaft rubber has had enough
That's spectacular but mine only had a few crumbs of rubber in the drive shaft when it went.
Replaced the clutch, made no difference therefore had to be the shaft - second hand one from Sherlocks and has been ok since
On the positive side it took a weekend to change the clutch but the experience from that made it a Saturday morning job for the drive shaft

Hi Guys,
The problem seems to have gone away for now..maybe something to do with sitting at the dealers over the winter.maybe better now it's being used.i have spoken to the dealer and even though the warranty has just run out he says he will honour it in the next few weeks if it re appears now i've reported it! i will update again if anything changes.
