I am planning to do the same thing to my standard 1150GS, I have received the Migsel pegs (very nice as usual) but I am not going to fit them until I also have a fix for the gear and brake levers
What have others done I wonder?

I made a new gear lever, 10 years down the line still haven’t done anything to the brake pedal

I've just bought Migsels naively not realising I'd need brake & gear shift mods. I've bought a brake pedal extender (they're £10 on eBay) but unable to source gear shift adjustment.
I'm currently riding with OE peg on left & Migsel on right as it gives my troubled right knee more bend. I've been told I look like a circus act from behind!
I've been told than the gear shift can be rotated lower from the spline but not extended further away. I'm going to try this option next.

It would be good to hear how you get on with the gear lever changes.
