I would like to try the double standard GS seats on my GS and was wondering what exactly was needed and from which bike ie could I take the seat rack Forman 1100gs and fit it to my GS or does it have to be an 1150.

Do I require a special conversion kit is it a straight swap.

Any info would be much appreciated

Just missed the one from Canuck "sods law"

Cheers

... as he's just gone the other way; even if he doesn't have the bits left he'll let you know what you need :thumb

Didn't realise that's the case, I will ask the question.

Many thanks:thumby:

You need,

4seat riser black block thingies,
1 tool tray
1 tool tray cover
1 rear rack from and 1100 or 1150 gs
1 seat lock mechanism bar thing
Seats of your choice from an 1100 or 1150 as they are both the same...or an aftermarket one such as a sargent or wunderlich etc.
Some bolts and washers
1 seat holder metal bit with the black rubber on both sides to rest the front of the seat on.

I think thats about it.
