Apols if this has been done but I couldnt find it.

My 1150 GSA leans over a hell of a lot on the side stand, is there a known fix/ extender / bodge available ???

Thanks in anticipation.

Mine too. In fact, "they all do that Sir"......I've added a Fat Foot and usually carry one of those plastic hockey puck things in a pocket for softer ground

Hi,

Thanks, yes I've done same but it still seems an alarming amount of bank. I've checked where the stand root is and all seems well.

Ill look if theres room to bodge an extension on it.................

1100GS, not the bike you have, but it too leant at a stupid angle.) I have a Wunderlich sidestand foot on to which I screwed a piece of 10mm thick nylon (?) to get the bike to sit properly. I just drilled and tapped to use the original Wunderlich mounting system with longer screws. It needed to be trimmed carefully to clear the centre stand. You can more or less se it in this pic. Others use hockey pucks, but they are a bit heavy and I was worried about the stand banging around on rough roads.

Thanks, Ill have a look tomorrow when Im off.

Apreciated

Beat me to it. Two holes in the stand base and in the puck, sink 2 stainless nuts into the base of the puck and bolt through the stand. Grind the protruding bolts flush with the puck base. Gives about an inch extra.

I have pictures on the confuser, I'll dig 'em out tomorrow if you want.

Also, the bush and pin in the stand pivot wear, which doesn't help. Parts available from Motorworks.

I use the ice hockey puck - works a treat…
