1150 headstock cable wrapping ~

The bundles of wires either side of the headstock are sheathed in black plastic/rubber.

It's all breaking up... so, any ideas on what would be a solution to re wrapping it all..?

Self-amalgamating (not sure of the spelling) tape perhaps?

I used the fabric sheathing tape (double wrapped) for protection.

Fabric tape every time,the amalgamating stuff ends up as a sticky mess.
If you can remember,when you pop over to have a look at bar risers I’ll find a roll for you

And not just round the headstock. From handlebars to rear brake wiring as it will no doubt be falling apart.
