1150 or 1200 Adv

Hi Peeps

At the moment i have a 1150 GS 03 plate with 55000 and i am toying with the 1200GSA and RT but have had conflicting remarks on the 1200 and people have said stick with the 1150 which is a great bike but i do a lot of motorway miles and would like a bit more weather protection have taken both bikes out from Chandlers in Brighton and still cannot make the decision the RT has the electric screen and heated seats and cruise with the only thing i possible would want on the GSA would be the cruise as i know you can get heated corbins, the mirrors are better on the GSA and luggage wise i would guess they would both be about the same

I had read on here about chandlers they seem quite helpful better than Coopers but now Emmet has left to go back to Ireland things seem to have gone downhill so not sure whether to buy from them now,

so would welcome your views on 1150 or 1200

It's up to you really.. which one do/did you most enjoy riding?

I loved the new engine in the GS and the RT liked riding both which is my dilema I still like my 1150 apart from lack of protection from the weather gods

Buy a 1200gsa from bahnstormers....I,m just a customer there but have been very impressed.... It's a short ride out from sleaford on the A272...


You know the RT is a bit souless in your heart.....

I had an 1150 adv before my 1200 adv and i prefer my 1200,i think if u get a 1150 adv it will be a case of more of the same as you already have an 1150.Personal preference is what it will boil down tnly reason i sold my 1150 was it let me down on a trip to spain a few years ago so i changed it and never looked back.have fun deciding!
