Happened this weekend as it happens...... several times

Maybe more to do with Sportsbike riders...... or UK roads........ or the fact that the GS is such a good all rounder........?

That is my one big concern, I don;t know how the rest of the transmission will stand up to it, clutch easily enough resolved, but the rest of the driveline is probably a bigger issue.
What sort of limits do you think it would cope with Neil ? I know my BCR was around 100, but that'll have been at the crank.

I'll have an update in a couple of weeks; off to Misano for the MotoGP via the French Alps and back over the Swiss ones........ I shall try and record mpg and highlight any issues but so far so good.....![]()
The weakest points in the driveline are:
1. Clutch
2. Gearbox
3. Driveshaft
4. Finaldrive
You will brake all of it in the long run. Don't ask me how I know!
If I remember right the M97 (1100 gearbox) was rated max 130Nm. I don't know about the rating for the 1150 gearbox. But I guess it's about the same.

Kin ell....Just finished on the dyno last night - I got the call to say that she made 147bhp at 8000rpm - unbelievable as we were hoping for around 120. Also have 100ftlbs of torque from 5500rpm where the origonal torque curve started to dip.
Picking the bike up Thursday so more pictures after that.......
Not hard mind !!!Very interesting mod, and 147bhp at the wheel would make it a real tool.
Does it have much effect on ground clearance while cornering though? Hard to tell from the pics.
and now that you've had it a couple of years, how's it been on the longer term. Any issues with it?
