1150 top box barrel

I have just purchased a second hand but unused genuine aluminium top box for an 1150 off e bay i ordered a pair of new locks off a bmw dealer but find the hole for the top lock is smaller than the bottom one and the barrel wont fit the hole in the lock , the dealer insists they are all standard has anyone come accross this and can offer any solution

Lock barrel in my 1150 genuine top box was changed just a week ago
It fools a lot of people because its the lock barrel from the K series fuel filler
