1150 V 1200 ?

I would love to own another 1150 or gsa but found the gs was at times a big lump so gsa is going to be even worse for me ! loaded with pillion as well !
Was hoping the much lighter 1200 had been sorted

Put no more than 20lt in the tank and it'll way about the same :D

I am 28 and have tried both the 1200 and the 1150. No doubt about it for me. 1150gsa all the way.

Lighter bike is easier to steal!!:D

Only upside is they'll be within a 2 mile radius waiting for the AA:blast

Flipfly did you have to remind me :( lol my gs 1150 was stolen last thursday by kids ! and torched on sunday night ! thats why im looking for a replacement

Having just treated myself to a 1200gsa, you lot are making me damn glad I kept my 1150gsa alongside it...

the 1200 has a service light flashing every 6000 miles ,that you need a gs911 to put it out,the 1150 does not :thumb

Good point Jonnie Comet, I'll wind my neck in (as my dad used to say to me when I was a lad).

1150's kick ass, we all know that ! Don't we ?

Ive been test riding allsorts to replace the 1150..... I am almost convinced by the S10.....but when I get back on the 1150 , I know it , I can fix it...to a point.... it sounds great and does the job, ive done two trips this year and it been a ball.... they are a no duff soild bike... they get might vote...

I've had the 1100, 1150 and 1200 and I rate them in the same order. Get yourself a classic 1100GS - best of the bunch

Thanks westcoaster that does look a nice gs il try again to find it on fb scotland. :thumb
Think i have been persuaded to stay with 1150 i do like the fact they are easy to work on and no fancy bits to complicate things.

Why the GSA over the standard GS Stolzy ?
Good question, the GS seems a bit ordinary after the GSA - I like the elevated riding position, just seems more of an 'event' to ride (to me). In fact, I'd prefer the GS gearbox - the low first has no benefits (for me) and I'd prefer the longer sixth of the GS for touring.
