1150GS 2003, frame paint colour

Pillion footrest framework is looking shabby.....................OK OK, it's rusty.

What is the paint colour, and where can I get it? I can't imagine that BMW will be selling aerosol cans in this colour.

I removed my subframe about 5 years ago for the same reason, tatty and rusty in places. I rubbed it down to remove most of the crud and get a reasonably flat finish, 2 coats of grey primer ( Cant remember which ) and then 4 coats of Hammerite smooth gloss black.
As theres not much else in the way of a frame to match it to I wasn`t too particular about the shade of black but it matched my Hepco and Becker bars pretty much. So far very durable and still looks good.
