Darn, got myself a rear hugger from a non ABS 1150 and it does not fit directly onto my ABS model. Is there a conversion piece or bracket ?

I have a Pyramid Hugger on my '04 1150GSA (ABS & Servo).

It came with extension pieces that replace the rear brake caliper mountings and is bolted to the end of them.

I don't know why ABS / Non-ABS would make a difference though.

Bob.

Rear Hugger

Guess I must be looking for the extension piece so. On the non abs there were two holes on top of the caliper to mount the hugger, on the abs caliper there are none.

ABS Hugger

Just put the hugger against the caliper again. There is no way this will ever fit the ABS caliper without some sort of adapter. It does line up with the two bolts that secure the caliper to the swing arm but thats about it. They are too recessed to use. Can someone send me a pic of where they mount their hugger on their ABS bike.

This may be a wasted post... my bike is an 1100 with ABS and brembo calipers.

however as you can see the hugger fits into bolts that came as part of the kit and these lift it away from the caliper...

Rear calipers are all the same, 1100, 1150, abs, non abs, servo, non servo.

What make hugger is it?.
Did it come complete with standoff and appropriate extra long bolts?.
If a Pyramid hugger, give them a call and they can supply bits seperately.
ABS/non ABS shouldn't make a difference.

Huggar

AHaaaa, looks like I am missing the stand offs. I did not need this on the non ABS bike I had. Strange if all the calipers are the same.
Yes by the way its a pyramid.
