1150GS bash plate front mounts question

Slightly embarrassing this... I've just started to remove my engine bars in preparation for selling the bike and I can't remember how the front of the bash plate is secured

There's a couple of rubber mounts with threads pointing downwards but not long enough to get a 10mm nut on. Is there a special fastener that goes up through the lower bash plate and screws onto the thread? If so what do they look like cos I must have put the buggers somewhere safe

Panic over - found them (along with the original engine mount bolts in a bag full of mountain bike inner tubes. Obviously .)
