1150GS Driveshaft siezed

Siezed Driveshaft

Hello Everyone,

On a Bearing replacement stripdown of my 1100GS i have also found that the driveshaft of my bike is siezed at the splines on the drive shaft, i have tried WD-40 and heat (not at the same time!!) but to no avail :(

So am i correct in thinking that the driveshaft does need to alter in length to allow for suspension travel?

If this is the case im going to have to take the driveshaft to work next week and get medieval with it. (without damaging it any further!!)

Cheers :beerjug:
