Thanks a lot. Now i finally know that i have ABS without servo. Huge load was taken away from my huge shoulders.
Now i know with which instructions i start to do fluid chance. Boiled my rear brake fluid twice last autumn. So i quess it needs some maintenance.

The most bizarre thing is the bloody prices for apparently similar bikes, 50K £2.5k

Well I've had it on 3 bikes now. My first RS, a CB1300 and now the Pan. Of all the miles I did on the first two I never ever used it. Advanced training may help

It's not being able to say you've never used ABS and feeling smug about it , it's being able to say i'll never need abs.
And no one is in a position to say that whatever their training.
I've had ABS for years and never used it, and i've never had any training whatsoever. But that doesn't mean i'd go without ABS.
You Only Need it Once
Whilst coming back from a run up the East Antrim coast I was coming thru Carnlough and there must have been an event on at the chapel as they were getting out later
A young lady and her family were coming out from the chapel gates as I looked across I was mesmerised by this beautiful girl wearing a tight black lycra top stretched across a marvellous bust which was framed by a tartan waistcoat that did not make it past her marvellous chest
Couple that with the short tartan skirt and black tights and knee high boots and that it was VERY cold /high wind chill
and you can probably understand why my attention was diverted from the road in front i(in two instances) and I had at least my 2 second gap probably 4 seconds as it was wet and cold
Well when I turned back around the Discovery that had been toodling thru the village had STOPPED dead
I hauled on the brakes and got a couple of activations at both front and back brake systems and stopped about 3 inches from their towbar
IF i had been on a NON ABS bike I would have lost the front and smacked the tarmac as per my first ever roadbike accident
Why not?
I have used ABS a lot,on previous bikes fitted with it - but none of my bikes have it now, I don't buy the 'you only need it once' stuff
Because i'm not perfect.

Do you ride the Harley or Guzzi any different though because you haven't got it though
