Tried and as much as my 'magic fingers' can work it , it won't lock!
I wouldn't mind so much but I just unwired the feckin devil's own datatool sytem and sent it off to a member of this parish as a freebie. If I'd have known, I would have left it in place

Mines the same, I guess my mate that owned it from new previously just never used it and its since seized up. As I always carry a lock and cable its rarely a problem really.

I'm sure you've tried

but just in case, put the bars on full lock (either way works) then whilst turning the ignition key fully anti-clockwise wiggle the bars back and forth slightly to align the lock post with the recess in the frame.

Planning to purchase a decent disk lock for some peace of mind...
