1150GS Top Box

Newbie owner with an 1150GS.
I need a top box for my 1150.
I have the BMW panniers.
What options do I have?
Wanted something that fits in with the general look of the panniers.

I use a Givi Maxia E52 (with the optional highlevel breaklights), with System panniers - works for me! Used every day for commuting - keeps the bike narrow enough and I tend not to notice it....

You do have to sacrifice the grab rail for a standard install (although I believe some have mounted the Givi rack further back), but you can pick up a BWM grab strap which mounts between the seats (for 1150 GS dual seat!).

I have an original 1150 top box that I need to get rid of. You would have to change the lock.

If you need to keep the original grab rail then the only manufacturer that I am aware of is Hepco and Backer. They do a variety of different boxes- I have the Journey 52 litre box that doesnt look too massive and allows me to fit in 2 helmets and a pair of trousers (just). Got mine from Motobins- highly recommended.

Got to agree I bought a new BMW box and got rid of it for the Givi maxia 52 better quality half the price.

Givi Maxima for me too. I also have the BWM system paniers and they look OK together.
