I'm hoping to pick up an 1150gs over the next month or so, as a second bike for touring etc and something the missus can go on the back of.
After perusing through the weird and wonderful world of http://www.gs-uk.com/GS UK supplies for embroidery and textiles, and overcoming the overwhelming shock that such vast range of materials and what-not are available, I managed to stumble upon your site. As such I thought that I'd join up, and have a look-see what goes on, and hope that you would be able to help me out.....
I'm going to look an 01 1150gs 35k full service history, recentish (12 months ago) clutch and gearbox replacement. I'm not bothered if its a bit tatty cosmetically, but I would really like to know what things to look out for and listen for when checking the bike out. I'm pretty good mechanically - so dont hold back!
