My '03 R1150GSA has languished in the garage for far too long. My lad was going to use it but for a variety of reasons this has not materialised. It has been used in all weathers and has the associated pitting and corrosion one might expect for a 23 year-old bike used in such a way. It runs but in reality probably needs some recommissioning before serious use is an option.

It has a Corbin heated seat that was recovered some time back but has not had much use since so is in good nick. A carbon Remus end can, MRA screen & Wilbers shocks. I have a BMW alloy top box and system panniers with the touring lids. It had an uprated flywheel fitted shortly before being laid up. It is currently SORN and not insured so whilst I am happy for someone to run it round the block it would need a temporary policy taking out as riding other bikes on your own policy relies on the bike being insured elsewhere generally.

It is by no means a garage queen but with a bit of TLC would make a (hopefully) reliable runaround. There are a couple of dinks in the tank and a slight oil leak from the LHS pot somewhere. The airbox is broken and the ABS has been removed (servoectomy). I have added a few photos, if you'd like any more pls ask.

I'd like £800 for the lot. I have no other spares other than possibly a spare starter & maybe a hall sensor but can't guarantee I'll find that as I really need to sort out my garage and this is one of the reasons this has to go.file 1.jpg

that's a lot of stuff for £800 .... shame I don't have any space at the moment. As I do have the urge to take one apart and do a rebuild.... best of luck in finding it a new home

Great project I agree, and a future classic, not a high mileage....GLWYS.

Will join my other ‘projects’ Alan, I really need to by one that that is ready to ride, or find the time to finish one, too much time away on holiday, which is down to the Mrs, whereas I’d rather be in the garage, of course she cannot understand why I need another, but luckily she puts up with it.😘
