1150GSA Future Classic?

The best investment a motorcycle can provide is the fun of the ride and the pleasure of recounting past memories.
Never got this whole investment idea of material goods purely for financial reasons....your a long time dead, make the most of life while you still can.
Is t riding what we're all here for?

Buy it

Ride it

Do what you want

I have a 1150 GSA for best & another 1150 GSA for general use

Some people here think it's madness

I couldn't give a stuff

For me, the 1150 GSA suits my riding needs to a tee, it looks magnificent (IMHO) & I love them

I tried the newer 1200's all varieties & they don't do it for me

So do what you want - it's your life

James Sherlock has a mint 14k GSA for an eye watering £7.5K. can't recall how much a fully loaded one was new in 2003 (about £9K I think) but is sold for the asking price it has got to be one of the lowest depreciating bikes going.

On the other hand, use it for what it was intended for and I think you could lose £2.5k over two years. All depends on the starting price....but yes I think these bikes will attain cult status....if they haven't already....so it all depends on what you pay in the first place!

I should perhaps add that my intention isn't to wrap it in goose down and leave it in a hermetically sealed room. It will be ridden, but meticulously looked after to preserve it cosmetically and mechanically. If that makes me a ****, then so be it. It's always funny to see how willing people are to dole out insults from behind their keyboard....

You do what ya want fella. Your life your bike ;)

I've got my bought new 2002 standard GS which will be pressed back into service next year, also a 2003 1150 GSA with 5 k on the clock that gets used sparingly . I'm lucky I've got other bikes and cars to play with as and when I fancy.

My life... My bikes... Do what pleases you not what others think you should do !! :D
