1150gsa running on one pot

Folks,
Pick myself up an 1150gsa that has been ridden as it was made for. I decided to clean the dust from underneath he tank and propped it up to give a good spray of wd40 and a wipe (no water).
No she's only running on the left hand cyclinder. Nothing on the right one at all.

That mess of wiring under the tank gives me a headache just thinking about it! What are the most likely causes?

Any help appreciated before I have it picked up by the local BMW service centre for what is likely to be an expensive inspection.

Thank picture could have been taken of my bike. The before was absolutely identical to what mine looked like.

Now I'm off for a mid winters Brisbane ride (only 17c outside today brrr!)
