My bike has started running a touch off, it has a rough idle and has started surging at any rev's. I have checked the stick coils (Twin Spark) swopped side to side which has brought up that there's a problem on the left pot only! even swopping stick coil problem only on left pot so can't be them.
So I tried changing the spark plug side to side, no difference:nenau could it be the HT lead? any help/advice welcome:confused:

running rough

Check for leaks on the rubber intake, try spraying WD40 or similair when running listen for engine note change. Could also be TPS, valve clearances or throttle sync.
How old are your plugs???

good luck,

Hi thanks for help I will try to see if there are any air leaks. Throttle sync just done along with valves/end float clearances. Plugs done 6000 Miles:)

Check that a stone or something has not got stuck in or around the throttle cams, it happened to me and caused exactly this problem.

Checked for air leaks there are non as I can see no change in engine note or sucking with WD40 sprayed round intake manifold + TPS checked, reads 0.38volts. Any more ideas :nenau

Sorted!!!

Check that a stone or something has not got stuck in or around the throttle cams, it happened to me and caused exactly this problem.

You were right there was dirt on the end or the cams which seat on the stop screws, which in turn meant when I cleaned everything up and checked the TPS reading it was off!. Now reset TPS to 0.38 + sync throttles and it's running perfect!!. Thanks for your help on this excellent forum:thumb2
