1150gsa top box fitting

My top box (original adv alum box) bangs and rattles over bumps.
It fell off a while ago so I've added a couple of big cable ties ( one at rear and one under lock).
Still makes a lot of noise, any one else experience this and more importantly got a fix for it?

Are you using the detachable security bracket that attaches the box to the flip up part of the rear rack ? .

Mine has a shim at the very bottom to stop this happening. If you remove it and look under neath you'll likely see where to place them—the spot where there's a load of wear.

Yes. Using the bar that flips up.
