I've never noticed before as I don't leave it standing whilst warming up, I just get on and ride, but I did an oil change today and left the bike on the nice new light colour flags in the back yard, ran it for a few minutes to let the new oil circulate before checking the level and I noticed that there was water vapour dripping out of the union joint where the muffler meets the Y piece, all covered by the shiny cover piece,
It's almost like a fine mist leaving water deposits on said flags.

I checked the torque on the connector clamp bolt and all is well.
The factory manual/ parts fiche does not show any kind of gasket at this junction, so either there's a deviation in the shapes of the two pipes where they join and the clamp just ain't closing the gap or is it a case of ....."They all do that sir.....It's to get rid of condensation so the muffler doesn't rust from the inside" ??

Perfectly normal,

and should do that,

if it didnt all that lovely water, would collect in your exhaust box, and it will rot from the inside out ;)
