1150RT thoughts.

So It's 5 days in on the new RT and I like it... it's nice... it's just... not setting me on fire.

I guess the issue is it's actually sooooo similar to the GS... (which I knew it would be) just a bigger screen and different seating position.

Hmm... not sure about it yet. I like it, I'd be happy with it as my only bike, but I just don't know that I prefer it over the GS.

The radio kit is on it's way.. that might sway me.

go find a big rain cloud and drive thru it a few times

that should sway you even further

Well, it's been a couple more weeks, but really... it's just not doing it for me, so she's going up for sale - I'm sticking to my GS.

Even without the problems I had with mine I grew to dislike it very quickly and am now back on a GS, a very expensive experience - I only enjoyed the bike at motorway speeds in the pishing rain and I realised I don't like riding at motorway speeds in the pishing rain anymore, I'd rather be in a car or on a train.

The GS isn't nearly as good at that but it is a million times better at all the other riding I tend to do

yeah I'm pretty fond of the RT, it's just I like my GS better.

There's definitely something nice about the RT cruising along, getting to work in comfort and warm/dry though
