1190R - Tarts handbag or cool?

I've never fecked around with paint jobs on bikes before but I *think* I'm liking this quite a lot :)

I don't have any info, just some shots I grabbed off the net - what d'ya reckon? I'm tempted...........

Yep, I like the look of that. Fowlers in Bristol had one painted in the Repsol colours - that looked good as well, but not quite as nice as this one.
 
I added a little bit more orange to my 1190, but if I was going to change the scheme completely, the above (and this) is the way to go.

That paint scheme was a prototype by the KTM R+D department that never made it into production. I will be painting an 1190 in this exact scheme using these actual photos in a few weeks time.
I think it looks superb!

Actually, I believe that it was done by a German dealership for a customer. But really neither here nor there. I really look forward to seeing your rendition with lots of before/during/after pics. :thumb2
 
I just noticed the black line with the red pin stripe swooping around the top tank cover. I don't like the way that it ends when it meets the side panel. I'd either carry that on forward or not have those at all. Just saying......
