Now that I've already mentioned the November meeting in the 'Christmas Do' thread, we'd better have a proper posting point for it.

Right, our monthly Thames Valley Gathering will take place on

Thursday 22nd November 2012 from 19.30 hrs at The Chequers in Berrick Salome.

Thus I can collect your deposit for the Christmas Dinner and hand it over to Katy and Stewart together with our menu choices - three deer with one rein (sorry... ).

It's a nice thought and thanks for the offer but I'm a married man....

There's a faint possibility that I could make it. Son Tom is visiting for the evening but I think he may now be going out with his mates.

Am booked in for a half day desert riding on a CRF450 tomorrow at 8.30.

Sweet!

Or more likely sweat I suspect. Changing the subject somewhat anyone out for a bit of laning at the weekend, need to take my mate Dene out seeing as I nagged him to get a bike. Gotta fit a set of mousses for him on Sat so I suspect Sun makes more sense for me.

Maintenance for me as well I'm afraid.
Could be tempted to do a short ride Sunday to flex the SP's muscles again after its amazing performance at the trial last week.
December 2nd is trials practice at Seymours arena at Aston Tirrold (Mike, Martin?)
£6 for North Berks members, not sure about non members (£7 to join)

None other than Ex world speedway champion Ole Olsen. He even shared his "cookies" with me. Still a handy rider, and a thoroughly nice bloke to boot.
