11XX swing arms.

Nope - the early 1100 type ( both smooth and square type)

And the the late curved type, looks identical to an 1150 swingarm apart from the shock mounting point. :D

Some more advice passed on free of charge without any flowery thanks sought :augie

And tomorrow i will see if the 1150 swingarm fits an 1100 gearbox ( i forgot to check last time).[/QUOTE]

Mucho gracias :thumb2

1100 gearbox is 270mm between the swing arm inner mounting points.
1150 is 275mm.

1100 swingarm is 253mm across it's mounting points
1150 swingarm is 260mm.

The 1150 swingarm seems to fit ok. Thats without trying it using the pivot pins.

Thank you for taking the time to measure that. :thumb2:thumb2
As a follow on, do you know if the alignment of the centre line of the drive shaft relative to the offside mounting points is the same for both swing arms and also would the pivot pins be able to be set up correctly when using a 1150GS swing arm in a late 1100GS gearbox? (I think the bearings are the same) Lastly, the top shock mount. Would the top of the 1150GS shock,(when attached to an 1150GS swing arm) line up with the top mounting point on an 1100GS?

Many thanks

Nick
